Kreosus is a creative sustainability and crowdfunding platform, created by Tree of Evolution LLC, which is a company based in Texas, USA with roots in Turkey.

It is claimed that Confucius once said "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." It is unlikely that he ever uttered these words, because in China back in his time, it was not that common to pick a profession. Still, we are people who strongly believe in this message. In our time, people are being directed to jobs that are assumed to make money easier, even if they do not have any interest in or passion towards those jobs. Kreosus (or Creosus) is a combination of two Latin words: The first one is creo, which means "creativity" in Latin. The second one is sustineo, which means "sustaining" or "continuing together" in Latin. But this word also has a funny coincidence: Kreosus is mainly built by people with Turkish origin and people who love Turkey. Turkey is a country which lies on Anatolia, a geographic region in Western Asia that unites Asia with Europe, and had been home to many civilizations that shaped the path of humanity. By rearranging just two letters in Kreosus, you get Kreosus (or Croesus), who had been the legendary king of Lydia between the years 560 and 546 BC. Lydia was an Iron Age kingdom of western Asia Minor located generally east of ancient Ionia in the modern western Turkish provinces of Uşak, Manisa and inland İzmir. Not only this, but also King Croesus was famous for his wealth. Lydians had printed the first gold coin during King Croesus' reign in their capital Sardis, which is a part of Manisa, Turkey today. In our world, we do not see kings like King Croesus; however, we believe that the collective power of the people is stronger than any king that has ever existed. Kreosus is built to convert this potential to reality.

Through Kreosus, you can select the creators you want and support them monthly regularly or one-time with an amount that won't strain your budget and as much as you want. This way, you contribute to the sustainability of those teams.

If you choose to provide monthly regular support to a creator, the first time you choose to support, the support amount you choose is charged from your account at that moment, regardless of which day of the month you are on. After that, starting from the next month, charges are made regularly on the 1st of every month. If the first attempt of monthly charges fails, a charge attempt is made on the 9th of the month, and if that also fails, another charge attempt is made on the 16th of the month. If any of these succeeds, no more charge attempts are made that month. If all three fail, no more attempts are made that month; it tries again the next month. If it fails for three months in a row like this, your monthly support is automatically canceled. Of course, you can cancel your regular support whenever you want, whether it succeeds or fails.

If you choose to provide one-time support to a creator, the amount you specify is charged from your card only once. This amount does not repeat and is not charged again the next month.

You can switch between one-time charges and monthly regular support whenever you want; you can provide one-time support whenever you want, change the amount of your monthly support as you wish, or cancel it.

No! Kreosus is a tool that implements a model known as "donation-based crowdfunding model". Here, the word "donation" does not mean "charitable donation". In this model, those who provide funding to projects do not demand a return. So the financial support given by our supporters using Kreosus is not collected by any charity or association for "charitable purposes". All of these supports are used for the normal operations, projects and purposes of the content creator you support. No "charity work" is done in this process, and it is not promised that the supports are collected for these purposes. Therefore, the supports given through Kreosus do not fall under the scope of "collecting aid" or "collecting donations for charity".

What is done here is simply the financial support of an existing project by those who want to support that project without expecting a specific product in return for the project or the support given.

The logic of crowdfunding is simple: Maybe 1 supporter cannot give 1000 lira per month; but 1000 supporters can give 10 lira per month. The logic is completely built on this. When crowdfunding is mentioned, two types of crowdfunding come to mind today:

No! In addition to credit cards, you can also use your bank cards or virtual cards. We recommend you pay attention to these two common problems:

• Make sure your credit card is open to international payments (this is necessary because our card processor is US-based).
